Pets ~
All pets must wear identification tags while in our care. All dogs will be required to be walked on a leash. Somerset welcomes disabled pets or those pets needing extra care. Somerset cannot provide service for aggressive pets, those with a history of nipping, biting.
It is important that you take a headcount and make sure pets are all inside your home before you leave. Somerset is not responsible for pets left unattended outside.
Inclement Weather ~ Natural Disasters ~
Every effort will be made to safely drive to clients homes. The service schedule may be altered or interrupted due to weather conditions. As soon as roads are clear, we will attend to your pet. If travel conditions are dangerous, your emergency contacts will be notified to take care of your pet. This back up procedure would only be used in an extreme emergency. Somerset will notify clients when we have reached emergency contact and confirm they will care for your pet. We encourage clients to have ample food and supplies for your pet on hand especially during the winter months.
We will not walk dogs in extreme hot/cold weather or during thunder/lighting storms.
Payment ~
Payment is due within three days following the last day of service. We accept cash or personal check. A $35.00 return check fee applies plus all bank fees incurred.

Cancellation Policy ~
Dog walking/Puppy Visit ~
Dog walking and puppy care require a one day notice of cancellation. Cancellations made prior to one day except in an emergency, clients will pay 100% of entire fee.
